Traditional Rocking Horse Plan

The traditional rocking horse is a favourite amongst wooden toy builders. There is something magical about a rocking horse for us all, and to see the joy on the face of its rider takes us back to our own childhood.

This plan is a woodworker’s favorite nationwide, featuring a saddle with a “carved look”, an inlaid bridle, and inlaid belly straps. Build it with hardwoods, lay on a good finish and you can display or gift her proudly. Macramé “fur” mane and tail is optional. 45″ long.
